The Statesville Convention & Visitors Bureau {SCVB} invites you to join us for the 2023 Celebrate Statesville -  Tourism Summit + Awards and Destination SHOWCASE at the Statesville Civic Center on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 beginning at 10:30am.

10:30am - Celebrate Statesville Tourism Expo Kick-Off

• Ribbon Cutting with the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce 
• Rolling Out The Red Carpet with the Downtown Statesville Development Corp. 
• REGISTRATION Check In

11am - 1pm - Celebrate Statesville - Tourism Summit 

• Keynote Speaker - Christopher Chung, the CEO of the Economic Development Partnership of NC (EDPNC)
• Research Presentation - Marlise Moody Taylor, Director Tourism Research from Visit NC
• The Power of Partnership - Panel moderated by Visit NC Director, Wit Tuttel to include Donna Carpenter, President/CEO Explore Cabarrus County and Jessica Icenhour Roberts, Executive Director of The Mount Airy Tourism Development Authority

1pm - 2pm - Inaugural Celebrate Statesville Tourism Awards  (Lunch will be catered by The 220 Café)

2pm - 6pm - DISCOVER Statesville Destination Showcase:   Are you ready to DISCOVER Statesville, NC? Tourism Expo attendees as well as the general public are invited to JOIN US for an on site Tourism Expo (Familiarization Tour) to meet/greet all of the attractions and destination drivers in the the Greater Statesville, NC area and learn what they have to offer visitors and locals alike.
