On behalf of the Statesville Convention & Visitors Bureau Board of Directors, we are excited to announce the 'Inaugural Celebrate Statesville Tourism Awards' ceremony to celebrate the outstanding work in the tourism industry. This ceremony is designed to honor tourism organizations, tourism and economic development individuals, and tourism-related businesses in the Greater Statesville area.
The following categories will be awarded during the 'Celebrate Statesville Tourism Awards' and are ones selected by and based on their involvement with the Statesville CVB - the efforts in going above and beyond to help attract a piece of business, involvement in a tourism attractor, etc.

There are 4 additional categories awarded at the 'Celebrate Statesville Tourism Awards' which are selected by the tourism community. These awards are YOUR opportunity to recognize those who provide exceptional service and are great assets to the Hospitality and Tourism Industry here in Statesville, North Carolina. As a Partner of the Statesville Convention and Visitors Bureau {SCVB}, YOU are eligible to nominate ONE deserving individual for EACH of the categories below:
⭐ Outstanding Ambassador: Frontline team member who represents Statesville, NC with excellent customer service
⭐ Unsung Hero: This team member is generally unseen by visitors but essential to creating an overall positive guest experience
⭐ Hospitality Professional of the Year: This team member demonstrates superior professional dedication and leadership within the hospitality community
⭐ Housekeeper of the Year: This team member is someone in housekeeping who goes above and beyond for each guest
Who can be nominated?:
Anyone employed or volunteering in the hospitality and tourism industry in Statesville, NC is eligible for nomination. A call for nominations is sent to Statesville CVB Partners prior to the ceremony. In addition to considering feedback obtained through nominations, the Statesville CVB selects 'Celebrate Statesville Tourism' Award winners based upon the nominee’s contribution to the well-being of the area’s travel and tourism culture as well as the nominee’s level of activity with the Statesville CVB organization.

When are nominations due?:
Submit your nominations by Friday, June 16, 2023.
Should a description be submitted with my nomination?:
YES! Please include a description of why the individual deserves the award! Submissions without a description will NOT be considered.
