    3rd Annual Celebrate Statesville - Tourism Summit + Awards

    The stage is set.  All we need is YOU!

    Time:  9:30am - 2:30pm

    Cost:  Free to Attend

    • Buzz Bizzell, DEGD, IDSA - Bizzell Design, Inc.  - The Power of Gateways

    Event will include a buffet lunch at 12pm.

    Senator Vickie Sawyer To Present Awards to Recipients 

    The following categories will be awarded during the 'Celebrate Statesville Tourism Awards' and are ones selected by and based on their involvement with the Statesville CVB - the efforts in going above and beyond to help attract a piece of business, involvement in a tourism attractor, etc.

    • Event of the Year
    • Attraction of the Year
    • Visionary Award
    • Lifetime Achievement Award

    We are honored that this years awards will be presented by Senator Vickie Sawyer.  “It is an honor to be a part of the 3rd Annual Celebrate Statesville Tourism Summit and Awards. Statesville’s dedication to showcasing its unique charm and attractions is truly commendable,” said Senator Vickie Sawyer. “I am excited to announce and celebrate the winners who have significantly contributed to our tourism industry, helping to make Iredell County a destination of choice.”

    There are 4 additional categories awarded at the 'Celebrate Statesville Tourism Awards' which are selected by the tourism community. These awards are YOUR opportunity to recognize those who provide exceptional service and are great assets to the Hospitality and Tourism Industry here in Statesville, North Carolina. As a Partner of the Statesville Convention and Visitors Bureau {SCVB}, YOU are eligible to nominate ONE deserving individual for

    EACH of the categories below:

    1. Outstanding Ambassador: Frontline team member who represents Statesville, NC with excellent customer service
    2. Unsung Hero: This team member is generally unseen by visitors but essential to creating an overall positive guest experience
    3. Hospitality Professional of the Year: This team member demonstrates superior professional dedication and leadership within the hospitality community
    4. Housekeeper of the Year: This team member is someone in housekeeping who goes above and beyond for each guest
